Fall II begins week of 10/31, Deadline to register - 10/26  (Late registration* ends 11/09)

What's my level?
Below are specific class descriptions to help you register for the appropriate class.

Beginner: Player is new to the sport or returning to the game after years of absence. No prior experience necessary.

Novice/Advanced Beginner:  Player has basic skills in the Big Five strokes. MSR: able to sustain a mini-tennis rally and have some success rallying from the baseline with a peer. Hits some serves in.

Intermediate:  Player has successfullly developed one through four of the Five Dimensions of the Big Five strokes: MSR: able to sustain a mini-tennis rally and have success rallying from the baseline with a peer. Hits many serves in.

Advanced:   Player has successfullly developed all Five Dimensions of the Big Five strokes. MSR: able to sustain a mini-tennis rally and prolonged rally from the baseline with a peer. Hits most serves in.

Terminology:
MSR- Minimum Skills Requirement
Big Five strokes- forehand, backhand, volley, overhead, serve
Five Dimensions
of strokes- 1. getting it in, 2. direction, 3. depth and 4. spin, 5. pace/power

What else is fun?
Cardio Tennis   - This high energy workout includes a warm-up, fun tennis drills, games and a cool down. (advanced beginner, intermediate and advanced levels)

Drills: Experience many repetitions and proper corrections in this hitting session. Practice makes permanent.
